CareOne Hosts Fundraiser to Support The Breast Cancer Research Foundation

Queen of Hearts Ball & Casino Night fundraiser will shed light on latest research and advances in treatments and raise funds to help prevent and cure the disease.

New York, NY – February 9, 2016 – CareOne, a premier, family-owned health care company, will host the Queen of Hearts Ball & Casino Night fundraiser on Tuesday, February 9th at Guastavino’s in New York City to raise funds to support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s (BCRF) efforts to eradicate breast cancer, the second leading cause of cancer death in American women.

As New Jersey’s largest privately owned post-acute and long-term care provider, and one of the largest privately owned health care companies in the United States, CareOne’s commitment to quality care is embodied by its 15,000 employees within 52 care centers across six states. Each year, CareOne selects a charitable organization to support, with past initiatives totaling nearly $5 million in fundraisers for organizations including: Superstorm Sandy relief efforts, Boston’s One Fund, The Valerie Fund Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, and many others.

CareOne has raised over $1.5 million for this event. The funds will be used to fuel discoveries in tumor biology, genetics, prevention, treatment, survivorship and metastasis.

In addition to hearing about BCRF’s innovative research efforts, attendees will enjoy a Prohibition Era theme, inclusive of 1920’s-inspired cocktails, music and entertainment, a gourmet buffet dinner and casino games.

All proceeds raised at the Queen of Hearts Ball & Casino Night will go directly to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. BCRF is the nation’s highest rated breast organization and the largest private funder of breast cancer research worldwide. By investing 91 cents of every dollar directly into its mission, BCRF is also one of the nation’s most fiscally responsible nonprofits.
